Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Resin, including the Resin iOS app, web app, Chrome extension, and related services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Resin, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, then you may not access Resin.

2. Your Content

You retain all rights to any thoughts, plans, tasks, notes, blocked domains, or other content you submit through Resin. You are responsible for the content you add and for keeping your account credentials secure.

3. External API Keys

Resin may integrate with third-party services such as Apple StoreKit, Apple Screen Time APIs, Chrome extension APIs, Google Calendar, or optional AI providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. If you connect a third-party account or provide an API key, you are responsible for that provider relationship and any related usage, billing, or permissions.

4. Focus Protection

Resin helps you plan, start, and protect focus sessions, but it cannot guarantee that every app, website, notification, or device state will be blocked at all times. Protection depends on your device permissions, selected apps and sites, Chrome site access, network connectivity, and platform behavior. Resin provides status and recovery tools so you can verify whether protection is active.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Resin Pro purchases made in the iOS app are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple manages payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund handling for those purchases. You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription from iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting your Resin account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.

6. Account Deletion and Support

Signed-in users can request account deletion from Account → Privacy. If you cannot access your account, contact support@noteresin.com. Account deletion removes synced Resin account data we control, but it does not remove records retained by third-party providers or cancel subscriptions managed by Apple.

7. "As Is" Limitation

Resin is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We provide no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the reliability, availability, or accuracy of the application, focus protection, sync state, or third-party services it integrates with.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time.
